Happy Holidays, San Jose State University! The Library is quieting down for the University's Holiday break. But aren't you the lucky campus with a merged library? While the University Library faculty and staff are on holiday, there will be a few days that King Library will be open during our break. So please check this website for all the holiday opening and closings: http://library.sjsu.edu/home/library-hours

In the Bay Area, there are several museums with exhibits to catch before they close. Remember to see our public library partner's fantastic Discover and Go page which offers free or discounted tickets to many places around the bay: http://tickets.sjpl.org/

I plan to see the Royal Treasure from the Louvre exhibit at the Legion of Honor next week. In anticipation, I have been reading Antonia Fraser's sympathetic biography of Marie Antoinette and Tony Spawford's Versailles : a biography of a palace. Will I see the movie version of Les Miserables before or after I take in the exhibit at the Legion?

Best wishes for happy holidays!
